Binkie and Blankie Boy

We are going to have to get rid of his binky at some point....but there is nothing cuter than Carter in his Jammies,Binkie, and snuggling with his blankie. He loves the tag on his blankie...he has actually rubbed the writting off the tag. He takes the tag and rubs it across his nose. Lol he is a little obsessed! Good thing we have a spare!

Whistle

So Carter found a Bear with a whistle around his neck at Mikes Uncle Gerry's Estate sale....well he has been obsessed with it!!! We even took it to the Crooksville Football game when we went. Do we see a coach in the future??

Frankie is 1

We spent a very hot Saturday celebrating Frankies 1st birthday with a Monster Bash.

Mike went to Bristol for the Nascar race....that evening Carter learned how to stand up on his own without the help of furniture,toys, or parents to grab a hold off. Well he is off....it might have taken 15 months to learn but he is a pro. It was a lot like when he started crawling...he may be a little late doing it but when he decides its time he does it right. Mike and I joke that he practices in his crib until he is ready to show off his new skill!

I have been putting off the big hair cut. But his hair is getting out of control. When it is wet it is to his shoulder. So I took him to Jessie and let her go to work. He did really good! He snacked and didnt mind it all.

Muskingum Co. Fair

We made it to the fair. We went monday and then again Friday because Carter loved it so much. We saw all the animals on Monday and then on Friday went to the cow barn and horse barn because it was his favorite and then saw the Circus.

Happy Birthday Tenlee!

Today we celebrated another 1st birthday! Little Miss Tenlee, Mikes friend Darren's little girl. Carter has a lot of friends.... you would think we all planned this! Anyways it was a fun day with friends. We cooked out and watched the kids play. Happy Birthday Tenlee! Gavyn and Carter....probably taking the ball from eachother haha

Heath Water Park

Dr. and his family went on vacation this week so I only had to go in everyday for a few hours. So Mike and I took advantage of the time to do some "Family" togetherness. We just got back from vacation but we wanted to do something with just "US". First trip of the week was Heath Water Park. We got here around 1 and stayed until 4. It was perfect weather and Carter is such a water bug. He crawled and went under water in the baby pool, climbed the kids area, and watched Mommy and Daddy go down the slide in the big pool. I honestly think his favorite was the big pool. He kept going back and fourth between Mike and I and going underwater. He amazes me!! View of the Kids area at Heath Water Park

Family Time

We have been really busy but have had a lot of fun the last couple weeks. Mikes Aunt Mary, Uncle Bob, and cousin Lori came to visit from Texas last week from Weds - Monday and then Mikes cousins Wendi, Pat, and Alex from his Dads side of the family came from Tuesday-Monday.
